Georgia - Toss Up Senate Race; Obama closing quickly; early voting strength
Indiana - Presidential Race Toss up;
North Carolina - Republicans essentially giving up on Senate Race; Obama leading in a number of polls
Virginia - pundits have this in the Obama leads by more than margin of error
Ohio - Leans Dems in the Presidential Race
Which is the most surprising?
We think Indiana is probably the most surprising at this point, but hey that's just our opinion. What's yours?

(Remember the show is tomorrow morning - promoted by admin)
Josh Segall (AL-03) will also be joining us. We have just confirmed there are some very promising polls out that show him trailing Mike Rogers by single digits.
This Sunday we have another great lineup including Glenn Melancon (TX-04) and Mooncat from Left in Alabama to talk Alabama politics. Loren Collingwood will also be joining us to talk about some polling in the Presidential Race and the Georgia and Kentucky Senate races.
Glenn Melancon of Sherman is the Democratic candidate in Texas' 4th Congressional District. The district includes Bowie, Camp, Cass, Collin, Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Grayson, Hopkins, Hunt, Lamar, Morris, Rains, Red River, Rockwall and Titus counties. He is running against Republican Ralph Hall who is the oldest member of the House of Representatives and just changed parties in 2004 at the age of 81.

The simple answer: Not bloody likely - Sorry for being so blunt.
On the Blog Talk Radio show the other day we talked briefly about the goal of reaching 60 Democratic Seats in the Senate. The Democrats would need 9 to 10 seats depending on whether Joe Lieberman still caucuses with the Democrats.
Here is where we stand right now on getting there in terms of our ratings. We think that it's probable that we will get to 56-58 based on the status of these races today.
Safe Dem pick ups: Virginia and New Mexico
Strong Dem Chances: Colorado, New Hampshire, Alaska
Toss ups: Minnesota, North Carolina and Oregon
Long Shots still in Play: Mississippi B; Georgia and Maine
Therefore, as we move forward our focus will be on North Carolina, Oregon, Mississippi B and Georgia. Those are all our endorsed candidates.
We really think Georgia is the Gem of the long shots. I think Miss B and Maine are trending down while Georgia is trending in our favor. Miss is still the better pick up opportunity as Wicker is not really an entrenched incumbent like Shameless Saxby.
