We've had a great week in the insurgency of Bill Halter in Arkansas. Tons of money has been raised. How sweet it is!!!
But let's make sure we are covering other races where we can elect Better Democrats.
If the DNC and the DCCC is not going to take on a 50 State strategy then it's our responsibility. Just because we don't have Howard Dean doesn't mean that we can't make a difference..
Over at the Progressive Electorate we've listed a number of candidates on our Act Blue page who need our assistance. Take a look at some of these folks where we can make a significant difference. Races where 50 $10 contributions can buy a ton of signs, races where 100 $25 contributions can get some polling, races where 1000 $5 contributions can buy significant media time.

Of 26 races to watch
Reflecting Democrats' efforts to stay on offense this cycle, today the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is announcing several races to watch this year. In each of these races, Democratic candidates have generated excitement in their districts for their campaigns to create jobs and help fix the economic mess that the Republicans created.
"These strong candidates are getting the attention of folks back home because of their willingness to be independent voices for their districts and prevent a return to the same failed Bush policies that drove America into an economic ditch," said Jon Vogel of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. "As these strong candidates continue building excitement for their campaigns to create jobs and help middle class families back home, the DCCC will help them become even more competitive in November."
The DCCC's list of 26 races to watch for 2010:

(Thanks for the post. We are adding Raggio to our Act Blue Page right now - promoted by admin)
x-posted at Sessions Watch and Daily Kos)
Despite repeated campaign promises to always be in the District on weekends, Pete Sessions is working overtime today to kill health care reform.
His latest outburst on the House floor drew "a burst of chatter" in the room, kind of like it does in bi-partisan settings here at home when Sessions gets stuck for an answer and says the first thing that comes to mind, usually a tangent about "socialism" or "Nancy Pelosi."
In his latest gaffe, Pete Sessions defended the insurance industry's practice of charging higher rates to women, comparing the practice to charging higher rates for smokers. Transcript over the jump...

(Excellent submission and a good looking candidate! - promoted by Curtis Abbey)
Michele Bachmann is batshit crazy. So is Pete Sessions (TX-32), who said once that if the GOP wanted a good role model for "insurgency," they need look no further than the Taliban. Yes, the Taliban. Pete Sessions actually thinks the GOP should become like the Taliban.
So, besides being batshit crazy, what does Pete Sessions have to do with Michele Bachmann?
Pete Sessions is chair of the NRCC, and he's raised a lot of money for Michele Bachmann. And he's not going to stop there--his goal is to pack Congress with more batshit crazies just like them.
Want to stop him? Support his Democratic Party opponent, Grier Raggio. Read more about Grier over the jump...
