In a cruel twist of fate , Mike Rogers voted to reauthorize SCHIP while Bobby Bright voted against the bill that provides health insurance for children.
Rogers was widely criticized for voting against SCHIP in previous terms. Of course Rogers now knows that he has to have a moderate voting record.
Bobby Bright was one of two Dems who voted against SCHIP. This is an unconscionable vote in my opinion.
At this point in time, I'm not quite sure why Bright is a Democrat other than the fact that he votes for Pelosi as Speaker of the House. Otherwise Bright is a Democrat in name only.
