Yesterday Josh Segall received criticism from Congressman Artur Davis in the Birmingham News. Davis believed that Segall was making a major mistake in calling out Rogers for his bailout vote.
I think Davis made a mistake in calling out Segall with only days to go before the election. I generally believe Artur Davis has better judgment that what he showed.

Well in an interview with the Anniston Star a day after his interview with the Birmingham News, Davis criticized Segall again.

"Most of the Democrats who voted against the bill were from the far left, were pretty hard core," Davis said in a telephone interview with The Star. "These were mostly ideologues. I'm not sure Josh wants to be that kind of Democrat in Alabama. As I have understood it, Josh is not in that camp. He's more of a moderate Democrat, one that isn't against the business community for ideological reasons. This is an important point for Josh to appreciate."

However, weren't there some Republicans that voted against the bailout bill also. I don't think that this position by any means confirms Josh as being anti-business. I think that Segall simply believes that this bill was not good for the people of East Alabama.
