#1 THERE'S A REP FOR THAT!!

#2 Markos Moulitsas (founder of the Daily Kos) on the Ed Show, "we're tired of Harry Reid's excuses".

#3 4th grader asks President Obama, "Why Do People Hate You?"

#4 Power Company Trying To Shut Off Cancer Patient's Oxygen
Mable Randon is suffering from the late stages of cancer. She's bound by a wheel chair and only breathing with the help of an electrically-powered oxygen machine. Rucks Russell of KHOU in Houston reports that the local power company sent her a disconnection notice because of late bills. She applied to the Critical Customer Program, a payment plan seemingly tailor-made for people in Randon's condition who depend on electric life support -- but she was denied.

This is part of Huffington Post's fantastic Bearing Witness 2.0 project

#5 The Young Turks discuss the Balloon Boy story from yesterday.

I think it's a hoax too, or something worse is going on with that family.

#6 Glenn Beck just wants a simpler time

Glenn Beck is sure a deficit hawk, there are so many of these now that Obama is President. Some are born-again, Beck doesn't fall in this category. But the born-again deficit hawks are amazing, they want Obama to do more with less and nothing will ever be enough.

#7 How Goldman Sachs Did it by Dylan Rattigan

For a grand total of $70 Billion (Goldman along with every other bank and AIG would have been defunct without this money).

Goldman at the apex of the crisis is delivered this money -- which they then use to borrow against at $20 or $30 for every $1. Which at 30x equals $2.1 trillion in available capital.

As one of the only banks in the world with money at the time, Goldman Sachs was able to buy billions in distressed assets around the world at record low prices -- only to watch $23.7 trillion in US taxpayer money be deployed during the past year to re-inflate the asset's values that Goldman had purchased with our tax money.

I was make jokes all afternoon. I'm certainly glad they found him safe or I would have been struck down by the wrath from the man upstairs.
