Don't Let Louie "What Bill?" Gohmert (R-Tx) Off The Hook

Update - I called Gohmert's D.C. office and I talked to the Press Secretary - very nice and accommodating - Said a statement would be up on their site about the speech - The sign was said to be in reference to a bill that has not been dropped. I still do not think it was proper etiquette

Forgotten in the Joe "It's a Lie" Wilson outburst has been the fact that Louie Gohmert wore a sign around his neck the entire speech that said "What Bill?"

Rep. Louis Gohmert (Tex.) waved at Obama a handwritten poster he made on a letter-size piece of paper: "WHAT PLAN?" Gohmert then took that down and replaced it with another handmade poster that said "WHAT BILL?"

Gohmert is a former Judge - God bless Texas Imagine what he would have done if somebody wore a sign that said "What Law?" into his courtroom. He would have held them in contempt.

We should not expect anything less from Gohmert who signed up as a co-sponsor on The Birther Bill - . A day after the anti-birther bill was passed at that. So perhaps that is the What Bill he was talking about. One can only speculate at this point.

Buddy - This is not a minor league baseball game. This is not nap time. This is not a townhall. This is not an interview with Alex Jones .  You are a Congressman. Act like it. btw - your stupid sign caught my attention well before the yell.

No Gohmert - A public option is not going to absolutely kill seniors as you proclaimed. No health care reform is not like putting condom on wild horses like you proclaimed.

Elementary and middle school kids could behave yesterday, why couldn't Congressmen show some class and hush up during a speech by the POTUS. You have a right to disagree and vote against health care reform. But to disrespect the President during a speech with a sign around your neck is just tasteless and classless.

What should we do about Gohmert?
