Let me preface this by shame on the entire Alabama U.S. House delegation that voted against this bill. This diary focuses on Congressman Artur Davis of AL-07 which as a PVI of D +18. Not Gubernatorial candidate Artur Davis.

Cap and Trade reform is needed. While I can understand Davis's position, I disagree with his contention that it is best for AL-07. Long term energy solutions are needed for the environment and the economy. Green economy legislation will have long term impact on the economy in Alabama and the Southeast
